Our Story
How Lalluji Luxe Began
The idea started small — a single room, a local artist, and a bet that guests would respond to something different from Jaipur’s usual mix of marble-and-gold hotels and heritage havelis. It worked. What began as an experiment in one room has since grown into a full property, with each suite carrying its own distinct hand-painted identity, and a guest base that increasingly books specifically because of the art rather than in spite of an unusual concept.
Today, Lalluji Luxe is recognised as one of the most unique stays in Jaipur — a boutique luxury homestay built around art, hospitality, and home-cooked food, hosted personally by Kapil and the on-site team. Guests aren’t handed off to a rotating front desk; the same small team that greets you at check-in is the one arranging your candlelight dinner, adjusting the next morning’s breakfast to your taste, and remembering your name by day two.
What We Believe About Hospitality
We think a stay should tell you something about the place you’re visiting, not insulate you from it. That’s why the art at Lalluji Luxe draws on Jaipur’s own visual heritage — the fine linework of Rajasthani miniature painting and fresco work — reimagined in a modern monochrome palette instead of the city’s usual pink-and-gold. It’s also why food here is cooked to order rather than served from a buffet, and why the same people who designed your stay are the ones running it day to day.
